Fulcrum jaws
Design of a foot pump is the most important aspect of the equipment since it connects directly to the hydraulic system. The lower and upper jaws in the equipment hold the drum at the two sections and lift it vertically up.
Lifting height may vary, depending on the load capacity and drum dimensions. The chassis capacity will also vary, based on the rigidity of the load. It is possible to choose Drum Handling equipment that is in perfect line with the changing load needs.
Part Designs – Important Efficiency Factors
The oil plug is one of the most important parts of hydraulic drum lifter because it ensures smooth lubrication of the system. Steel balls O-ring, cylinder and the screw rods are very important for ensuring the smooth lifting and positioning of the drum at the safe height from the ground level.
The pump housing is the next most important part of drum lifter since it increases the hydraulic pressure at various stages. Using the handle-bar to push the hydraulic lever up the vertical support frame can create a huge volume of pressure within a short time.
Drum Loading and Unloading – Smooth Operations
Once the drum is in position, it is easier to move the truck to the desired location on the two wheels that are mounted onto the base. Releasing the valve in the anti-clockwise direction can lower the drum at the unloading location. In the next step, the worker can release the upper and lower jaw from the drum and move the truck away.
